An Introduction to Amy Law Photography…

Written By Amy…

Hi from Amy Law Photography!

My little business goes from strength to strength. And with help from people like Wedding Day Angel it keeps getting better!

I am a very smiley female photographer in Barnsley and serve places like Huddersfield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield and other areas in South and West Yorkshire. My relaxed wedding photography service is growing and it’s such a pleasure to meet newly weds to be and be a part of their special day.

I love when a client returns after their wedding day and takes home their album, their little faces all lit up at the hand-made quality album framing their awesome yet emotional wedding images.

I find I become ‘the’ family photographer and more and more family members return for family sessions and more. It’s so nice to read such lovely feedback from clients and the cute little gifts I receive like lovely hand picked lavender all bunched up.

Feel free to check out my website and have a look around. I am currently updating wedding images so look out for updates soon.

I love my job and can’t wait to meet more clients along the way.

An Introduction to Mary Smith Photography…

Comments Off

Written By Mary…

I am very lucky to be able to work doing something I love. I have been interested in documentary style photography for almost 20 years, and worked for several years as a travel photographer. In my travel photography, I always preferred people in my pictures, for me they somehow brought the picture alive. I was always looking to make a connection with the subject and looking for the right moment to press the shutter.

It was a natural progression two years ago, when after being asked by lots of friends and family to capture them in natural environment, I set up Mary Smith Photography and I cover Weddings and Family Lifestyle Photography and have been committed to learning and training ever since. One thing that has remained constant is my interest in capturing people and their emotions. My style of photography is perfectly suited for weddings as it is a day of lots of emotion, love and special moments, providing you with a set of pictures that tell a story of the day, plenty of candid shots for your album as well as beautiful, creative pictures.

I offer a professional approach to your day, and included in all packages is a free Pre Wedding Shoot, a chance for you to relax in front of my camera and see how I work.

Please get in touch if you are interested in making a booking.

“ Indigo Sage was created by Jo Richards.

A professionally trained photographer, Jo found her passion for creating in textiles as a child, being taught to sew by her mother, but she renewed this interest after the birth of her first child in 2010.

She works with vintage and new fabrics, an eclectic mix of styles and colours, and creates bespoke items for her clients with a personal touch.

She creates for the wedding market, as well as gifts and homewares, and she is launching a new range of handmade wedding accessories in the autumn of 2013.

She combines traditional hand embroidery and beading techniques with more modern machine freestyle embroidery and applique to give her pieces depth and personality. “

Introducing Matt Heath Photography…

Written by Matt…

Hi, my name’s Matt Heath and I’m a full-time wedding photographer servicing Essex and Hertfordshire. Since I set up my business several years ago, I’ve worked closely with hundreds of happy couples in the local area to create exciting yet timeless images that perfectly capture the excitement of your ceremony, your reception and all those unique special moments in between.

By far the most important thing for me is building a good relationship with my clients, this relationship really helps me capture all those precious moments on the day and the portraits are so much more natural because of it!

When it comes to wedding photography, presentation is key. I will always go the extra mile to make sure that my clients receive images of the highest quality, all bound beautifully within the finest albums available.

From the moment we sit down for our first meeting, you’ll notice that I absolutely love my job. In fact, my passion for my field continues to grow. I love the fact that each and every wedding presents me with new challenges and there’s always something new to learn. I think it’s important to develop my skills and explore new techniques, too, and it’s this commitment to my work that has led me to become a fully qualified member of the International Professional Photographers’ Network.

I also specialise in family portraits and children’s photography. Capturing the unique charm and personality of your little ones gives me a real buzz and my candid approach allows me to really engage with my clients to ensure they receive the most natural results possible.

Visit my website to learn more about my wedding packages and prices. I can travel within a 50 mile radius of my home on the Essex/Hertfordshire border but am more than happy to travel further if needs be– just give me a call to discuss your requirements.

You can add me via Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with my work and receive exclusive discounts and special offers!

Introducing Tarran Patterson Photography…

Comments Off

Written By Tarran….

Hello, all. My name is Tarran Patterson and this year, I decided to ‘go it alone’ and set up my photography business. It’s been around ten years in the making and I honestly do not know why I didn’t do it before!

I initially started off photographing musicians and places; however it was due to my brother-in-law’s influence that I decided to set up my own business. I was able to buy his trusty Nikon SLR when he was upgrading and since then, I’ve not looked back!

My passion is weddings! Even when I was planning my own, I just loved every aspect of it. I am quite a creative person so I hand-made all the button holes, bouquets, table decorations, wedding favours and flower arrangements. I know how much it means to have a record of everything, especially because the day is over so quickly!

I prefer a journalistic approach to photography. I like to document things as they happen; people as they laugh and children as they play. I love to capture the more ‘candid’ moments; reactions to speeches, grandma with tears in her eyes and the happy couple enjoying each and every moment.

It’s also very important that I offer affordable photography packages. Although I have set packages, if the couple is looking for something more specific or is working to a particular budget, I will always aim to accommodate them. I believe everyone should be able to book a photographer for their special day.

I am located in Hampshire, however I do travel around – I don’t like to be too restricted and love visiting new places. I always contact a venue prior to the wedding day if I have not been there before and try to arrange a visit. I am also happy to attend wedding rehearsals when possible. All my wedding packages come with a face-to-face consultation and bookings are secured with a low deposit.

Next year is looking busy for me already; I’m very excited about it all!

Written by Marie…

Hi My name is Marie Barber Owner of Marie Barber Photography, i have been photographing weddings and families for the past 8 years in-between having a family of my own and going to Uni and gaining a BA (hons) in Creative Lens Media - Photography.

I am originally from North Wales (now live in Lancashire) which is where Marie Barber Photography was also born, being thrown in at the deep end the day before a wedding because i ‘had a good camera’ luckily for me there was already a successful photographer as a guest who was nice enough to guide me and another person with a nice looking camera as to what we should do, from there i was second shooter at the grooms sisters wedding, it was there i caught the bug, handing over someones captured special moments from one of the most important days in their life seeing the joy an excitement on their face and seeing the tears as they watch the slideshow bring to life their day all over again, words cannot express what a pleasure and honour it is, every single wedding i have done since then has given me the same feelings, even looking back at those weddings still fills me with emotion, i consider myself to be very blessed to do a job i love.

I have a very relaxed fun approach to all of my shoots, its important for the people I’m taking photos of to feel comfortable with me and my camera, so i want to get to know you and hear all about your wedding day, and i will be genuinely excited about sharing your day and capturing your special moments.

A free pre wedding/engagement shoot comes with all our packages and i always have an assistant with me on the day to help capture all your little details that you have put so much time in to prepare.

I aim to be affordable but not cheap, i am happy to discuss your requirements and give a free consultation so that we can find the best package for you, even if we have to make one up.

Please take a look at our Facebook page and website we offer great discounts and competitions from time to time and if you have any questions i will be more than happy to help.
