We have had an exciting year so far and have been in various locations in Essex and also had a visit to Norfolk to run a fayre at the lovely Dukes Head Hotel.

A recent wedding fayre was held at The Legacy Kingscliff Hotel in Holland on Sea in Essex and was another very successful day for all involved.

We had 20 main stands with local wedding suppliers providing lots of exciting and beautiful products from the surrounding areas.

We also had a change to our normal catwalk shows by having our models walk around the venue in bridal gowns from Serenity Brides, which added to the whole ‘wedding venue’ idea to our visitors.

Champagne welcome drinks and canapes were available throughout the day to all the guests and there were lots of photo opportunities around some new products and exhibitors.

Our 3rd fayre for 2014 was held on 11th of May in Colchester at The Marks Tey Hotel (video coming soon), where we held our very 1st fayre in 2012.

We had just over 300 visitors including 88 brides registering on the day, LIVE musicians included Singing, Harpist and a Saxophonist , along with bridal catwalk shows too, which looked stunning with gowns from The Bridal Lounge, Colchester, hair and make up by Aimez-Vous, Colchester and Flowers provided by Flowers by Davina.

In our January Fayre this year, at the Clacton Factory Outlet and we had 350+ visitors on the day, including 115 Brides.

We had 30 exhibitors, 3 catwalk shows and entertainment from a local dance school too.

We had a LIVE singer perform and crowds of people enjoyed the day even though they had to queue in the wind and rain before we opened the doors.

We had some great feedback from exhibitors and visitors.

One of our exhibitors from the Clacton & Tendring Fayre, The Legacy Kingscliff Hotel, was so impressed with the turn out of visitors, that they have now asked us to run their wedding fayres, which will start in June as listed above.

This is an exciting adventure for us and we’re really looking forward to working with The Legacy Kingscliff Hotel.

Sorry I didn’t get in contact earlier other than a quick tweet but you only have yourself to blame as since the fayre I have not stopped with the work I got from brides to be!!

What a fantastic day start to finish! So glad I got involved!

Everything was so well organized. You kept us informed of what to do and where to go before we got to the venue which was a great help.

Special mention to your dad who I thought was lovely! He looked so proud of you too! And was working his socks off all day!

Loved that it was a family run event as that’s just the way I like to work too and I do think it makes a difference to the atmosphere.

You had obviously done a great job with advertising, I admit I was skeptical, because OF the venue, if many ‘real’ brides would come through the door but I was amazed at the queue outside and then the continuous stream of genuine interest all the way through the day.

As I mentioned on twitter, this fayre was up there with the very best I’ve exhibited at and I have no doubt it was due to your hard work and that of your family.

Well done again and can’t wait for the next.

Yesterday we took part in our fourth wedding fair of the season, and met lots of wonderful couples thinking about their wedding plans for 2015, 2016, and beyond. I can highly recommend the Wedding Day Angel for any business looking to promote themselves at a wedding Fayre. I recently had a stand at the Tendring wedding Fayre and it was a great success. From the time I signed up for the Fayre it was clear that a lot of time and effort was put in to promoting the event and this was even more apparent when the queue formed on the day of people waiting to get in, despite the rain and wind! We spoke to lots of lovely potential customers on the day and I have so far had 4 confirmed bookings as a result! Can’t wait until the Colchester wedding Fayre!
